Barcode Label Printers
Business Communication Solutions (BCS) supplies thermal barcode label printers for every deployment type: network-connected desktop printers, standalone workstation printers, and mobile label printers for use on the floor and in warehouses.
Printer selection depends on print volume, label size, and environment. Desktop thermal printers handle medium-volume production labeling. Industrial thermal printers run high-volume, continuous-duty cycles without heat buildup. Mobile printers connect to handheld scanners and mobile computing devices for on-the-move labeling.
Manufacturer options include: Zebra desktop and industrial thermal printers, Honeywell label printers for warehouse and distribution environments, and portable thermal printers for field labeling and logistics.
BCS configures each printer to your label stock, ribbon type, and network environment before deployment — reducing calibration time and reprints.
Industrial Printers
Zebra industrial printers are engineered for high-volume, continuous-duty label printing in demanding environments — from warehouse floors to manufacturing lines. Built rugged, configured to your operation, and backed by BCS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Direct thermal printers use heat-sensitive paper that darkens when it passes under a heated printhead. Thermal transfer printers use a heated printhead to melt wax, wax/resin, or full resin ribbon onto standard paper or synthetic labels.
Choose thermal transfer if your labels need to last longer than six months, endure harsh environments, or remain readable under sunlight, heat, and chemical exposure.
Direct thermal labels are slightly more expensive than thermal transfer labels. However, they require no ink, toner, or ribbons. With that said, thermal labels can be more cost-effective long-term for durable applications because the labels do not fade and require fewer reprints.
